# ChiefClouds Raises ¥100M+ Series B from Hundsun Digital Fund, Shaanxi & IDG

On **Feb 16, 2023**, MarTech firm **ChiefClouds / ChiWu Tech** (驰骛科技) closed a ¥100M+ Series B led by **Hundsun Digital Industry Fund**, with Shaanxi Growth Fund and **IDG Capital**.

Context: 2020 MarTech adopters ~8,000 / vendors >1,000 in China; pandemic + capital caution forced many vendors to cut expansion and return to product. Founded 2016; CEO Cheng Huayi (Tsinghua + Georgia Tech CS) previously founded iMads (易传媒), fully acquired by Alibaba in 2015.

Stack: CDP/DMP + CRM/SCRM + marketing automation — consumer data mid-platform for digital-media optimization, owned-media ops, CRM, smart in-store guides. Private-domain full-lifecycle CDP → 1:1 ops + third-party platform hooks. 5-year suite now closes data→app loop via automation/AI across fragmented traffic and O2O scenes.

Round uses: more standardized/modular PaaS; expand from C-consumer to small-B (store ops → BC integration). Clients include P&G, Nestlé, Mead Johnson — enterprise deal size rising.
