Q&A
1. Product and scenes?
After two years of self-build, FOSHO AFF is a one-stop AI affiliate-marketing cloud — making “one-click selling” smarter for outbound brands. Unlike classic affiliate, it links the full funnel: head-media reach, blog recommendations, influencer seeding, comparison sites, sub-affiliates, B-side channels. Covers insight → decision → trade → manage → optimize. Three modules: intelligence, trading platform, multi-platform management — plus AI affiliate bot and AI Spark (AIGC creatives). Intelligence already profiles 3M+ global affiliate channels and 500k+ brands; first dual-end (independent site + Amazon) affiliate ops platform of its kind.
2. 2023 R&D / GTM — challenges and wins?
Day-1 go-global company with China-outbound and overseas-user versions — but CN vs overseas differ sharply on product needs, service, and willingness to pay. Customer feedback drove business-model and product adaptation. Next-gen affiliate is a blue ocean for Chinese outbound brands — large space, heavy market education; by late 2023 outbound customers and peer entrants both grew. Product validated 0→1 PMF and closed the first commercial loop; 1,000+ global brands onboard (incl. Fortune 500 and outbound leaders). AI fused into R&D as “3+1”: smart interaction, assist, digital twin/persona + smart R&D. Hardest: richer personalized service while keeping model safety, stability, controllability (incl. cost).
3. GenAI opportunities vs past waves?
For vertical martech builders, AI sped development depth/speed and opened new software-interaction imagination. Example: affiliate data intelligence improved processing speed and quality under LLMs; with long session times and complex scenes, the AI affiliate bot acts as an enterprise assistant that simplifies ops.
4. China landing challenges?
Tech: privacy/security, AI ethics, explainability. Market: cost pressure and thin horizontal LLM wrappers without a vertical scene — may win users briefly but need lasting differentiation; R&D cost discipline matters in a tougher funding climate.
5. Competing with giants?
Tech: algorithms + massive train data are not the whole model story — high-quality vertical labeled data and knowledge graphs are where giants rarely go deep; startups can complement and grow the commercial pie. Market: pick a sharp need — FOSHO chose outbound + affiliate + AI, piled vertical data, and new product/interaction forms as moat. Leave “do everything” logic; find the sharpest pain; market like a brand, not only a solutions shop.
6. Are models still limiting products?
Models have headroom — but that does not freeze apps. Dialogue, coding help, game-art assist already work. Progress goes point → line → plane; with better transformers, cheaper inference, and vertical KG quality/quantity jumps, commercial strength across industries will rise.
7. Human–machine collaboration?
Collaboration, not replacement. CK prefers +AI (human still lead) over distant AI+. For a long time +AI stays mainstream — insert AI into automation for efficiency, and build employee AI literacy.
8. 2024 watch?
Product-wise: GPT-5 expectations run highest. Tech themes: multimodal AI, few-shot / small-sample learning, and Agents.
