## Funding — China

**Shanghai Luobo Intelligent** (ex-XPeng Robotics product design lead Sun Zhaozhi): multimillion-RMB angel for AI companion robots aimed at young women (not kids) — multimodal LLM RTC A/V, long-term memory, self-learning; first “AI trendy toy” prototype due next year. Team from ByteDance, Huawei. CN companion market framed as potential ¥100B+ in 3–5 years.

**X Square (自变量机器人)**: Pre-A + Pre-A+ totaling **¥100M+** (Delian, Keystone et al.) for next-gen embodied foundation models and scene landing. Founded Dec 2023; dual Robotics Learning + LLM DNA. Claims world’s largest-parameter embodied general-operation model **WALL-A** on a “unified embodied foundation model” path (generalization, self-learning).

**Hangzhou Xuzhishi**: multimillion-RMB Series A — AI medicine / brain science; first CN VR therapy suite for cognitive impairment with NMPA device registration; AI + VR/MXR digital therapeutics with personalized rehab paths; quantum encryption + blockchain for privacy.

## Funding — Overseas

**UnifyApps**: $20M Series A from ICONIQ Growth. Founder Pavitar Singh (ex-Sprinklr CTO). Connects SaaS apps/data and lets enterprises build AI chatbots over that graph to cut hallucination. 20+ customers incl. a top global bank and a major telco; offices Gurgaon, Dubai, NYC; ~150 staff.

## Industry moves

**Kunlun Tech** ships Skywork AI Advanced Search — multilevel reasoning for finance (policy, filings) and academia (200M+ English papers); 500K+ char document analysis with multimodal output.

**Beijing** issues first education-sector AI application guide / work plan: pilot scenes citywide by 2025; scaled, systemic, routine use by 2027; student-centered, privacy-first; high-quality datasets + application test beds.

**SK Group** first AI Summit at COEX with Nvidia, TSMC et al.; SK hynix to supply next-gen HBM4 early for AI memory demand.
