OpenAI confirmed rumors: **ChatGPT Pro** at **$200/month** — unlimited access to all OpenAI models, including the full o1 “reasoning” model. Tech team member Jason Wei on a Thursday livestream: Pro targets power users already pushing models to the limit on math, coding, and writing.

Unlike most AI, o1 and peer reasoners try to self-check — fewer classic traps, longer time to answer. o1 plans tasks and runs steps that help derive answers.
