On March 28, 2024, the finals of Tech Sanya — hosted by the Sanya Central Business District Authority and the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry Informatization — concluded in Sanya alongside a briefing on the city’s digital-economy support policies. Guests from industry and investment joined. Anchored on “cultivating new quality productive forces,” Tech Sanya spanned six tracks — digital economy, AI, biotech, deep-sea tech, new energy & environment, and domestic substitution — drawing 100+ domestic and overseas projects and dozens of investors including Qualcomm Ventures, Baidu Ventures, and Qifu Capital.
After competitive rounds and open judging, Hangzhou QuanZhen Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (QuanZhen Tong / 全诊通) took the overall championship. The recognition strengthens QuanZhen Tong’s push to land generative AI in clinical care.
Clinical pain: paperwork vs. patients
With medical capacity under strain, doctors lose large blocks of time to chart writing and record collation; patients struggle to pick the right department, wait long, and get short consultations — then worry they under-described symptoms and leave more anxious.
To free doctors for patients rather than paperwork, and to give visits more warmth and care, QuanZhen Tong built an LLM-based medical generative AI — QuanZhen AI Doctor Assistant — covering AI triage, AI pre-consult, AI in-room dictation, and AI auto-generation of inpatient chart text across the full hospital stay.
QuanZhen AI triage
Triage is the first bridge between patient and hospital. Traditional triage is thin — multiple-choice prompts that learn little about the real presentation, so department recommendations are imprecise or over-broad.
QuanZhen AI Triage uses an LLM: from the patient’s description plus age, sex, and related signals, it asks differential-diagnosis-style questions, guides a fuller history, and recommends a more precise department for the current presentation — cutting delays from wrong department choice.
QuanZhen AI pre-consult
Traditional pre-consult sits on knowledge graphs and form MCQs, lacks image recognition, cannot ingest outside lab/imaging uploads, and returns thin results with little secondary processing — limited help for clinicians.
QuanZhen AI Pre-consult, while the patient waits, runs a clinician-like dialogue, guides a detailed history, accepts photos of outside records with automatic image extraction, and collects chief complaint, associated symptoms, prior care, past history, family history, and more — then drafts a chart and syncs live to the doctor workstation so the clinician already knows the case before the patient enters. It also flags urgency: when AI judges emergency care is needed, it prompts the patient to seek nursing help and enter a fast track.
QuanZhen AI in-room dictation
Legacy EMR voice entry is mostly speech-to-text: it does not capture the live doctor–patient dialogue as structured medical text, so workload barely falls.
QuanZhen AI In-room Dictation listens during the visit, understands clinical semantics, and turns speech into normalized medical text — drafting a chart in about 2 seconds, one-click into the hospital HIS, with generation quality and speed positioned as globally competitive. Operation is one-tap record, no extra steps. It can also cue the doctor in real time, support decision assist, and handle multi-dialect recognition, supplemental recording, and outside-record photo upload.
Inpatient full-flow medical-text AI
QuanZhen AI extends auto charting across admission, first course, rounds, surgery, and more — write anywhere, sync to PC. With a portable AI medical assistant, the system records doctor–patient talk, team rounds, and case discussion; cues missing items; and with multimodal OCR extracts outside materials to draft admission and rounds notes. After surgery, the doctor narrates the procedure; with 1,000+ operative-note templates, the assistant produces a full operative record so surgeons are not stuck at a keyboard after a long OR day.
Global: MDJot AI
Beyond China, QuanZhen Tong launched MDJot AI globally: real-time English doctor–patient capture, speaker separation by voiceprint, live transcription, and auto outpatient notes. The company has established AI medical-service cooperation with Eastern Caribbean countries.
QuanZhen Tong says it will keep reading hospital, doctor, and patient needs, push generative AI + healthcare scenes into more hospitals, and build more reference cases — smarter hospitals, more focused doctors, healthier patients.
